My urine is bright yellow - is this normal?

This is common and show you have sufficient levels of vitamin B2 already

Brightly yellow (almost neon) coloured urine is a relatively common experience when taking high-dose vitamins.

Most commonly this is caused by vitamin B2 (riboflavin), which can be found in Cel2 Nourishment.

This bright yellow colour of a urine is a sign that your body already has sufficient levels of this vitamin, and the excess is being eliminated from the body via your kidneys.

Provided you are well hydrated, your urine should be a clear to mid yellow colour.  Darker yellow urine can indicate dehydration and it is normal for the colour to fluctuate at different times during the day depending on stress, environment and dietary factors.

If your urine is an unusual colour that cannot be explained by fluid or dietary intake – for example pink, red, green or cloudy – we would recommend that you speak to your health practitioner.
